You'll be able to verify and correct U.S. and Canadian addresses and append ZIP codes - based on data updated monthly from deliverable addresses information provided by the United States Postal Service (USPS) and Canada Post.
Batch Service
Ideal if you only need address cleansing occasionally. You'll be prompted to upload a .csv file that includes your mailing list and then specify formatting options. You'll be notified when your cleansed file is ready to download. A summary will list the changes that were made and which addresses could not be validated.
Web Service
Ideal if your business application includes address information. You'll be able to integrate address cleansing into applications that support web services - for instance, a "Validate Address" button could be added to your Salesforce.com contact view. You can cleanse and validate up to five addresses at a time.
